This too shall pass
We are poisoned with minds.
Minds that dictate what we feel as happiness
We alone can utilize our minds to create the threshold for which we feel content
but only to a certain extent, because
the more we are exposed to love, joy, or fulfillment
it is a memory that is permanent in our minds
with every exposure to these emotions, this threshold increases.
And the higher our threshold reaches,
the more pain we can also feel
Our capacity for pain expands parallel to our capacity for pleasure
But everything is temporary
Both pain and pleasure are ephemeral emotions.
We feel happy but only for so long
and then comes the pain of losing what was once there
Reality is subjective to our minds
It’s our creation, our mind’s own creation.
ISABEL, if you are reading this, i wish i talked to you sooner. I wish i reached out to you sooner. WE all feel the loss of purpose, thirst and direction - some more than others. But you’re not sick. you don’t have an illness, you just need to think clearly, talk to a friend (me) and stay strong. Life is pain, but it’s beautiful as well. This will pass. I miss you dearly.
